Transworld MX Online Mis-print on Tommy Hahn's Chain
After seeing the slide show of the Vegas Supercross race - Slide number 23 shows an image of Tommy Hahn's ride with the chain off the sprocket. The caption reads... "Tommy Hahn's might was cut short when his chain broke in the main event." Farrah Bauer Marketing Manager for RK Excel had to set the record straight!
Per Farrah Bauer. "After speaking with Canidae Kawasaki Team Manager Bill Keefe, the RK Chain GB520MXZ4 did not break per the Transworld online caption. Per Bill Keefe, the chain derailed and did not break. As you can see from the Transworld image, the chain is still intact. Per Bill Keefe the derailment was not caused by the chain in any way".
Transworld will issue a retraction.
