All Three VMS Riders Finish in Top Ten at Hollister WORCS
Bobby Bonds, Kyle Summers and Bobby Garrison finished third, sixth and tenth after the last WORCS event in Hollister, CA Sunday the 19th of April. Summers got the holeshot and didn't hear the new instructions at the riders meeting directing all around the motocross track instead of the usual off-road entrance immediately after the start. Needless to say he had his work cut out for him coming from behind to finish sixth on the 5 mile primarily single track course.
Bobby Garrison was running in fourth for most of the event in what would have been his best finish this year but a practice crash earlier in the week which had him suffering from a headache plagued the talented rider at the end of the event to have him salvage a tenth.
Bobby "Bondo" Bonds came around the first lap in tenth after several crashes in the first portion of the event to charge up to third four laps from the end garnering a podium finish. Bondo has been suffering from a broken thumb the first portion of this years WORCS series and this is the first event he did not have to wear a support device for his hand and is definitely looking forward to the rest of this year’s series riding healthy.
Honey Lakes is our next race in a little less than three weeks and all three riders are looking forward to finishing further up the ladder inside the top ten.
